James River Framing & Art is committed to providing education about artists, art styles, and media; while cultivating an awareness of how to look at, appreciate, and identify a wide range of fine art, as created by a diverse group of talented artists.

Our goal is to provide open dialogue about art by bridging generations, connecting, and bringing people together.   Relating to art allows us to share our visual interpretations, find common ground, disagree, form new opinions, and expand or minds while responding to the elements of art – line, space, texture, color, shape, form, and value.

Representing regional, as well as internationally acclaimed artists, the Gallery encourages and supports promising, emerging artists who have a solid background in art along with creative and unique perceptions.  We present a variety of styles and themes while exhibiting a range of media such as painting, sculpture, photography, art glass, jewelry, and printmaking.

Pamela Jean Gallery is a member of the Professional Picture Framing Association, and takes pride in offering quality conservation framing to preserve fine art and collectibles.  Our state-of-the-art visual technology is available to assist clients in making more informed decisions about framing their artwork.

We actively participate in the vibrant Downtown arts scene and support the development of the arts in Southwest Virginia.  Across from the exciting new Art Museum of Western Virginia, Pamela Jean Gallery joins in making Roanoke a destination city for the arts.
